Podiatrist
A podiatrist is a physician whose practice
focuses on preventing, diagnosing, and treating conditions of the foot and
ankle. Achieving the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree (DPM) requires four
years of training in an accredited podiatric medical school, followed by a
hospital-based residency.
